No. Customers tap the NFC sticker with their phone and the receipt opens directly in their browser. There is nothing to download. Optionally, customers can create a free Quitslip account to save their receipt history — but this is completely optional.
Quitslip currently integrates with Square, with Shopify, Toast, Clover, and Lightspeed on our roadmap. If you use a different system, contact us — we may be able to work something out.
Standard NFC stickers (NTAG213 or NTAG215) are widely available on Amazon for about $10 for a pack of 10. Once you sign up, your Quitslip dashboard gives you the exact URL to program into the sticker. We also have a setup guide that walks you through programming it with your phone — no special equipment needed.
Most merchants are fully live within 10 minutes. Creating an account takes 2 minutes. Connecting your POS takes one click. Programming the NFC sticker takes about 5 minutes using a free app on your phone.
Nothing bad happens. The receipt simply expires after a short window (currently 60 seconds after the transaction). You can resend a receipt from your dashboard if a customer asks. The sticker stays active and ready for the next customer.
Yes. We use official OAuth APIs, meaning you grant us read-only access to your transaction data — we cannot process payments or access your funds. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Multi-location support is available on the Pro plan. Each location gets its own NFC sticker URL and separate analytics. Contact us if you'd like to discuss your specific setup.
